Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to visit the Egyptian Museum. Explore its rare collection spanning 5,000 years of Egyptian art, including the renowned Tutankhamen treasures. Next, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, and the iconic Sphinx. Optionally, enjoy an evening trip to attend the Sound & Light show at the Pyramids area. Overnight at your hotel.
Note: If your arrival time is late, this tour can be scheduled on the last day before your departure flight.
Day 2: Cairo – Nile Cruise – Aswan
After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam and the Philae Temple. Board your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay.
Note: Nile cruise itineraries may be adjusted due to sailing conditions.
Day 3: Nile Cruise – Edfu – Kom Ombo
Sail to Kom Ombo and enjoy afternoon tea. Visit the unique temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Edfu for dinner on board and a disco party. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 4: Nile Cruise – Luxor
After breakfast on board, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Cross the lock and sail to Luxor. Optionally, embark on a day tour with a private English-speaking Egyptologist guide to explore the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple, showcasing ancient Egyptian worship and architecture. Enjoy viewing the Obelisk of Ramses II. Dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor – Cairo
Breakfast on board, followed by disembarkation. Optional hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and the Nobles’ Mountain (subject to weather conditions). Cross to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6: Cairo – Departure
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-out and transfer to Cairo airport for your departure flight.
